About EA Exam
The Enrolled Agent (EA) exam, administered by the IRS, comprises three parts covering tax law, preparation, and representation. It’s computer-based, with a passing score of
105 for each part and a total of 130. Successful candidates earn the EA designation, signifying competence in tax matters and IRS representation rights. Ongoing continuing education is required to maintain EA status.
